BDB is kinda going away

My site isn’t going away, but BDB is.

I’ve been drawing the bible badly for a year and a half now, and I’ve had a great time. I’ve met some really cool people, and it’s opened the door to a lot of great experiences, but it’s time for a change.

And to be totally honest with you, the reason I feel like it’s time for a change is because I feel really pigeonholed by BDB. I feel pressure to post a certain number of drawings per week, and have a certain number of “serious” posts per week, and I feel pressured to bring all of my stories back around to faith, or church, or Jesus somehow.

And though my faith is the most important thing in my life, it’s not the only thing. Sometimes I want to post a video that’s funny, just for the sake of being funny. Sometimes I want to do something weird just because I feel like it. Sometimes I want to write 600 words on the Texans defense without having to compare them to Joshua’s army at Jericho.

I’ll still do some drawings, and write some thoughts on faith and the church, but I’m also going to expand my content quite a bit. I’ll still be here. Hope you’ll keep hanging out with me.
